What I Learned Today...

Okay now, seriously the things I learned today were absurd. During orientation for my work they briefed us on all safety topics, and I mean ALL.

I now know how to approach a bear as well as talk to a bear, yes talk...

I can successfully survive hurricanes, forest fires, volcanoes, and earth quakes....

I can put out a fake fire with a fake extinguisher...

The children in the neighborhood are wearing bathing suits and playing with hoses.....it's honestly only 45 degrees out right now.

In addition!

I will be growing all of my own vegetables and fruits this summer, catching my own fish, and making homemade ice cream. 

Dear Alaska, you blow my mind.
